More than just looking good

Vehicle wrap graphics :: Ronald McDonald House of Rochester

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester launched an innovative program in 2025 with House to Home, a mobile medical unit serving some of the region’s most medically complex children.

Here’s an excerpt from a write-up of the project from the Farash Foundation:

The unit brings enhanced telehealth, equipment and wraparound supports to families’ doorsteps, reducing missed appointments and stress while preserving the moments that matter most. The fully outfitted mobile unit brings practical help straight to families with medically complex children. The unit brings care right into the home, facilitates virtual appointments, and even delivers fresh produce—clearing obstacles so caregivers can stay at the bedside. The aim is simple and urgent: design care around families, not institutions—and give them back what can’t be replaced: time.

The company that customized the vehicle offered some design ideas, but the RMHC Rochester team wanted something more, so they reached out. They provided photos, brand elements, and a wish list. Through collaboration, exploration, and a lot of fine-tuning, the end result raises the profile of the vehicle and the work it makes possible. We even ended up developing a simple “House to Home” wordmark in the process of designing the bus.
