Video script, storyboard, and oversight :: Spiritus Christi Prison Outreach
After building the website for Spiritus Christi Prison Outreach, with massive assistance from Caleb Parker Photography, they asked us to help them create a video that celebrates their work and educates anyone who may be unfamiliar with their work. This video premiered at their annual celebration event, and is now in use on their home page.
We started from scratch by brainstorming with them, discussing everything from the emotional impact of the entire piece to the smallest details they wanted to make sure were included (yes, it was the dog, and it made us all happy). Caleb and I took their wish list and worked together to create a storyboard for feedback and approval. That turned into a shooting schedule (4-5 days in several locations), and a final product that received a standing ovation at the dinner. It was a true moment, achieving the emotional impact they wanted, and giving visibility to the vital work they do so well.
